Contemplation

Contemplation holds one question, truth, passage, or image in sustained attention so its meaning can be encountered rather than merely analyzed.

01

How to practice

Settle into direct experience, then bring one subject gently to mind: impermanence, control, meaning, a line of wisdom, or another honest question. Return to it without forcing an answer, noticing what becomes clear in thought, emotion, and the body.

02

Keeping it grounded

Contemplation is not a lecture or an invitation to ruminate. Nella keeps reflection connected to present experience, leaves room for uncertainty, and returns to sensory grounding when a subject becomes too sharp.

Practice this technique with guidance.

Choose it in Nella and set the time you have. Add an intention if something specific is on your mind.
